Motorway insurance ensures protected journey on motorways or National Highways wherever MTAG facility is available. It provides coverage against unforeseen event of car accidents, third party liability and reimbursement of car towing expense in case of an emergency breakdown for Rs 140 a month only.

Subscription Process:

  • Login to JazzCash App and select “M-Tag” to top up your M-Tag balance.
  • Once you provide your amount for top up, a pop-up confirmation will ask for your confirmation to subscribe insurance.
  • Click on “Yes Proceed” and pay your premium amount for instant policy issuance.

Simply login your jazz cash mobile app select your motorway insurance policy and click on “Submit a claim”. Attach required documents and your claim will be submitted.

You can also submit your claim directly with TPL Insurance through WhatsApp number 03338754671 through your registered mobile number

Claims payment will take up to 7 working days once the claim is approved.

  1. Damages/Loss arising due to personal conflict is not covered.
  2. Mechanical and electrical breakdowns are not covered under the policy.
  3. Standard depreciation clause applied on auto part replacement.
  4. Third party liability is limited to PKR 20,000 aggregate for both property damage and bodily injury.
  5. Coverage is limited within motorways / highways where MTAG facility is available.
  6. Coverage starts when vehicle’s MTAG is scanned at the Toll plaza while entering on motorway / highway and coverage concludes when vehicle exits from the Motorways.
  7. In case of any accidental claim, motorway police report is mandatory.
  8. Policy will be single claim based and will be terminated once a claim is settled.
  9. All claims will be settled on reimbursement basis.
  10. Claims will be settled if vehicle is driven with in max speed limits defined by NHA.
  11. Customer will share vehicle MTAG check-in and check-out details in case of any claim, if required by TPL.
  12. JazzCash will share details of the new subscriptions of insurance on realtime basis.
  13. In case of any claim, insured must inform TPL with in 03 hours of accident.
  14. Losses due to personal conflicts and mechanical or electrical failures of the vehicles are not included in the coverage

  • Damages/Loss arising due to personal conflict is not covered.

When does the motorway insurance coverage start and end?

Coverage starts when vehicle’s MTAG is scanned at the Toll plaza while entering on motorway / highway and coverage concludes when vehicle exits from the Motorways.

How many days are required for the acknowledgement of the claim?

Same day if all required documents are shared

What is the validity of offer after the claim?

Policy will be single claim based and will be terminated once a claim is settled.

How many days are required for the settlement of claim?

After provision of highway accident report and as policy is single claim based, it will be assessed on the basis of provided images by insured .

How much time is required for the declination of a forged or invalid claim?

As soon as this is identified by the claim department.

What is not covered in M-TAG insurance?

  • Damages/Loss arising due to personal conflict is not covered.
  • Mechanical and electrical breakdowns are not covered under the policy.
  • Coverage is limited within motorways/highways where the MTAG facility is available
  • Any claims arising due to over-speeding, or rash driving are not covered.
  • It is not covered if the vehicle is driven more than the max speed limits defined by NHA.
  • If towing is arranged by Motorway Police with zero cost, than no towing charges will be payable.

Is the motorway police involvement must?

In case of any accidental claim, motorway police report is mandatory

What is the claim process in case of emergency or query?

  • Insured can intimate claim through the app.
  • Motorway police report and vehicle damage images will be required to process the claim.
  • Claim intimation via app along with above information will be will be verified by the claims department
  • Settlement as per teams and conditions of the policy.
